Municipal Gravel Pits
The Municipal District of Fairview No. 136 owns and operates two gravel pits:
- Whitelaw Pit: N ½ 36-81-01-W6
- Border Pit: NE-01-82-01-W6
Typically, the Municipality will only open one gravel pit at a time for gravel sales to the public, and both gravel pits remain closed throughout the winter months.
When open for gravel sales to the public, the hours of operation are from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It is strongly recommended that members of the public wanting to purchase gravel, contact the gravel pit operator at 780-835-0884 to ensure loader and product availability.
