Farmers' Advocate Office

The Farmers' Advocate Office is an issues-driven office that supports fair process through advice and advocacy, actively assists with dispute resolution and consumer protection and provides resources and information on a variety of rural concerns and interests. 

The Association of Alberta Agricultural Fieldman

Agricultural Fieldmen have always been central to the success of Agricultural Service Boards. They develop, implement, and control programs designed to carry out priorities and policies set by their Agricultural Service Board. Peace Country Beef and Forage Association (PCBFA)

The Municipal District of Fairview No. 136 supports and collaborates with the Peace Country Beef and Forage Association (PCBFA), a non-profit, producer-driven, applied research and extension association serving local agricultural producers. Cleanfarms

Ag-Plastic Recycle-It! Pilot Program 

The North Peace Regional Landfill is a collection site for the Cleanfarm's Ag-Plastic Recycle It! Pilot Program, which allows local farmers to recycle grain bags and twine. To participate in or learn more about this program, visit Cleanfarms or North Peace Regional Landfill online. 

Pesticide and Fertilizer Container Collection Program 

Cleanfarms' is transitioning from collection of 23L and smaller plastic pesticide and fertilizer containers at municipal landfill facilities to collecting the same at agricultural retailers. For more information, visit Cleanfarms online or review the North Peace Regional Landfill's newsletter.   

AgSafe Alberta

AgSafe Alberta is the health and safety association for agricultural producers in Alberta. As an industry-led organization, AgSafe Alberta works with and supports farms and ranches of all types and sizes in becoming safer places to live, work and grow up on.

AgKnow Alberta Farm Mental Health Network

AgKnow is an initiative commissioned by the Agricultural Research and Extension Council of Alberta (ARECA). This farm mental health network promotes mental health and resilience among farmers and farm families so that they can lead fulfilling and productive lives. AgKnow is establishing a network of services to address the needs of farmers, and is adapting programs that fit farm culture, engaging with producer networks, and working with policymakers to create an environment where farm families can thrive.
